Alford, Lloyd Wright—A retired locksmith and car wash owner and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died Friday, Feb. 23, 2001, at Ollie Steele Burden Manor Nursing Home. He was 92 and a native of Dallas. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., from 9 a.m. Wednesday until religious services at 10 a.m. Private graveside services at Greenoaks Memorial Park.

Survived by two daughters and a son-in-law, Jo and John Decker, Prairieville, and Vera Alford-Brumler, New Orleans; a son and daughter-in-law, Lloyd "Benny" and Pat Alford, Baton Rouge; a sister, Mary Jo Tsukahara, Dallas; six grandchildren, Mike Decker, Sam Decker, Jesse Baumler, Joseph Baumler, Jason Alford and Justin Alford; and seven great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Alford; and two brothers, his twin, Floyd Alford, and Edgar Alford.

He was a member of International Car Wash Association, Southeastern Car Wash Association and Antique Clock Association….
