Jewel Dene Ross, 73, of Dardanelle died Thursday, May 1, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center.
Born Dec. 9, 1929, at Russellville, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Elsie Jordan McAnulty, a 1948 graduate of Pottsville High School and worked for many years at International Shoe Co. and Frolic Footwear retiring in 1993. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Russellville where she was active in the Always Young group and the Pierce Cell Group. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alan Ross.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Joy Ross of Kansas City, Mo., and Randall and Kay Ross of Russellville; three daughters and two sons-in-law, LaDonna Hipps of Dardanelle, Debbie and Larry Rudder of Delaware, and Donna and Roger Evans of Pueblo, Colo.; two brothers, Gerald McAnulty of Russellville and G.W. McAnulty of Haysville, Kan.; a sister, Nina Hipps of Sedgwick, Kan.; 11 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Humphrey Chapel by the Rev. Larry Moore and Bill Pierce. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery by Humphrey Funeral Service.
Pallbearers:
Active -- J.R. Mashek, Brian Rudder, Stephen Gordon, James Mashek, Gary Hogrefe, DALE McAnulty, Steve Hipps and Richard Rudder.
Honorary -- Sanctuary Sunday School Class of First Assembly of God.
