Jeanne Constance Whitaker was born on 9 March 1922, at Casper, Wyoming. She is the daughter of James Cotton and Iona L. (Whisler)Whitaker.
She served during World War II, and on 31 August 1944 Jeanne enlisted in the United States Army. On 30 November 1944 she was deployed for duty overseas, where she remained until be returned to the United States on 19 January 1946. She was then honorably discharged on 27 February 1946, as a 2nd Lieutenant.
No documents have be find to indicate she was ever married, nor that she had any children.
At the age of of seventy three years, Jeanne passed away, and was laid to rest in the Washington Veterans Home Cemetery.
