Oscar Hendershot, 79 years old, for many years engaged in the ice business at Washington, He died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John S. Johnson, at Huntington, near Phillipsburg. He is survived by two children, Mrs. Johnson, with whom he resided, and Mrs. Harry Apgar, of Phillipsburg. He was a member of the Knights of Pythias at Washington. He retired from active business seven or eight years ago and since then has been residing with his daughter, Mrs. Johnson.
