Lou Ellen Moody

Lou Ellen (Barnes) Moody, 69, Rushville, died Thursday at Millers Merry Manor, Rushville.

Born Nov. 25, 1928, in Rushville, she was the daughter of Ernest Clifford and Elizabeth (Brown) Barnes. She married Robert E. Moody on March 19, 1949, and he survives.

Mrs. Moody was a Rushville resident all of her life. She worked at Miller and Yarling's Ice Cream Parlor, the Ben Franklin Dime Store, Danner's Five and Dime, and Ward Stillson's Dress Shop, all in Rushville.

She was a member of the Main Street Christian Church, Rushville, and a member of the church choir.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Moster & Cox Mortuary, Rushville.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Deann Anderson officiating.

Burial will be in Rushville East Hill Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Main Street Christian Church.
