Alice Schlieman, 85, formerly of the Hartford and Colton area, died Tuesday, October 2, at Odd Fellows Home, Del Rapids. Alice Anderson Schlieman was born May 11, 1905, in Neodesha, Kansas. She married John Schlieman on April 5, 1921, in Hartford. They farmed in the Hartford and Colton area for several years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Colton, and Royal Neighbors and Rebecca Lodge. Her husband died January 2, 1975.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Deloris) McCabe, Roseville, California; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; and a sister, Hazel Bradfield, Ohatchee, Alabama. Grave side services will begin at 11 A.M. Friday in Colton Cemetery. Visitation begins at 1 P.M. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; one son, Harold; 2 brothers Howard Anderson and Irven Anderson.
