APPLING – Mrs. Mary Marshall Corley, 89, wife of the late Fred Corley, entered into rest Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at the University Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, March 14, 2009, at Kiokee Baptist Church with the Rev. Steve Hartman officiating. Interment will be in the Kiokee Baptist Cemetery, Schucraft Road, Appling, Ga. Mrs. Mary Corley was born in Appling, Ga. to the late Carl Marshall and Ruth Crawford Marshall. She retired with almost 30 years of service with the ASCS Office. She was a descendent of the Rev. Daniel Marshall, founder of Kiokee Baptist, where she was a member. She was always a loving mother and grandmother who gave with all her heart, "A perfect Mom". Survivors include two sons, John Marshall Corley and wife Linda, and Charles William Corley; one daughter, Beth Corley Hall, of Appling; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; and one sister Martha Sullivan, Harlem. Pallbearers will be Jerry Wisdom, Jr., Jessie Wisdom, Robert- Matthew Hall, Travis Corley, Weston Corley, Charlie Corley and Matthew Corley.
