Laurana was born August 2, 1909 to Sibelt Rothfuss and Margaretha (Lay) Van Boening Rothfuss on a farm near Glenvil, NE. She graduated from Glenvil High School, Glenvil, NE. She married John K. McClure, he passed away in 1975. They farmed near Glenvil, Ayr, Juniata and Wood River. Laurana was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, in Hastings, NE.
Laurana enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting. She was a loving grandmother. She was a foster grandparent at the Hastings Regional Center, Hastings, NE.
She is survived by daughter, Delores Koeppen and husband Vern of Overland Park, Kansas, son in law, Franklin Reis of Ayr, NE. 6 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John, daughters, Ruby Reis and Lois Ann McClure, 4 sisters and 1 brother.
