A.L. Pierce, 71, died at his home March 13 and was buried in Flat Hollow Cemetery, Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock, Rev. D.A. Spessard being in charge of the services. He married Ollie Mossie McCarty, August 9, 1880 and seven sons were born to this union, William Winfield died in infancy. James Joshua died in 1912 and the sons now living are C.C., D.A., Aaron, D.F. and John Henry Pierce. The five sons and wife were at his bedside at death. Two years ago he professed faith in Christ at his home
