H. Priscilla Arnold, age 91 of Sunset Home, formerly of 2447 Vermont Street, died on Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at 10:35 p.m. in the Home. She was born on September 9, 1917 in Brown County, Illinois, a daughter of John William and Sophia (Ward) Campbell. She married Leonard Ripper and he preceded her in death. She later married Robert Arnold and he also preceded her in death. She retired from Moorman Manufacturing. Priscilla had volunteered at Blessing Hospital. She loved animals. She also loved the outdoors. Survivors include: ONE SISTER-IN-LAW: Martha Campbell; Several nieces and nephews survive, including Sean Campbell, Valerie Campbell, and Dianna Lynch. Several great-nieces and great-nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, three brothers, Charles Campbell in infancy, Russell Campbell, and Raymond Campbell, and four sisters, Virginia Campbell, Grace McGinnis, Eileen Townsend, and Mary Leckbee. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home by Rev. George Tomko. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or to the Quincy Humane Society.
