Walter O. Earlywine, age 68, died Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at Nicholas County Hospital, in Carlisle, Kentucky. He was born September 30, 1938, in Nicholas County, Kentucky, to the late Audrey and Josephine Lowe Earlywine. He was a retired farmer and construction worker and a member of Barterville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: a son, Patrick Earlywine, of Connersville, Indiana; two daughters, Barbara Maybrier, of Carlisle, and Emma Laura Earlywine, of Connersville, Indiana; three brothers, Bill Earlywine, of Paris, and John Earlywine and Kenney Earlywine, both Carlisle; a sister, Faye Ring, of Carlisle; and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Roy Earlywine.

Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Dayton's Chapel Church of God by Reverend Troy Miller. Burial will follow in the church graveyard. Memorials are suggested to Barterville United Methodist Church or Dayton's Chapel Church of God.
