Nancy Jane Jobe's father James Jobe was killed in Civil War, Dec 24, 1864. He is buried in Nashville Tenn. Nat. Cem. her mother then M #2 Benj. Dodson 1868 in Cole Co. MO the family then moved to Virgil twp Vernon Co. MO. Nancy married Wm. Robert Edwards abt 1873 they lived in Linn Co. KS and for a short time in Harrison Co. Iowa. 1880 they were separated as she was living in Linn Co KS. with her step-sister family Elizabeth Dodson Hartley. Didn't find a record of her after 1880, her son Jesse L Edwards said " my mother Nancy Jobe died when I was a little boy", of Typhoid Fever. Her sister Sarah P. Jobe, was with her in KS 1880 and she died bef. Apr. 1882, at home of Rube Jobe Dover twp. Vernon co. MO, fathers probate papers.
