Kathleen M. Ellsworth, 76, of Montrose, died Sunday, June 22, 2003 at 4:30 A.M. at Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, Iowa.

She was born March 2, 1927 in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of Clinton N. and Mildred F. Lugering Norris. She married Harry Ellsworth on September 15, 1946 in Quincy, Illinois. He preceded her in death on January 16, 1993.

She attended Western Illinois University. She began work as an office worker in 1955 at Hoerner Box and retired in 1992 from Stone Container after 37 years. She was of the Lutheran faith and was a past member of King's Daughters.

She is survived by a son, Richard Ellsworth of Montrose, Iowa; a sister, Bonnie Miller of Canton, Missouri; and a brother, Robert Miller of Quincy, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother.

Graveside services were held Friday, June 27, 2002 at Montrose Cemetery in Montrose, Iowa with Rev. Dale Thomas officiating.

DeJong's Funeral Home in Keokuk was in charge of arrangements.
