BURLINGTON - Kristin Ann Aleckson, 30, died Saturday, May 9, 2009, at her home. She was born August 28, 1978, at Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, Ill. to Robert Edward and Karen Ann (nee: Grube) Aleckson. She spent her early life in Des Plaines, Ill. and Round Lake Beach, Ill. before moving to Burlington. Kristin was a beautiful person, who loved all her family and had a great compassion and kindness for animals. She was very sweet and tried to help in whatever way she could. She was intelligent and had many talents, which because of her disability, prevented her from fulfilling her dreams. She did not know how very much she was loved by all of us. Survivors include her mother, Karen (James) Braden; father, Robert E. (Maureen) Aleckson; brother, Brian Aleckson; grandparents, Mary Ann Grube and Patricia H. Aleckson; aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents, Irene and Arthur Teufert; and grandfathers, Clifford E. Grube and Paul Robert Aleckson. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at 5 p.m. at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home in Burlington with Rev. Joe Debski officiating. Final resting place will be All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines, Ill. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, May 13, 2009, from 2 until 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
