Dot was born the daughter of Frank and Mabel King. She had lived in the community for 38 years. Dorothy retired from the Corps of Engineers after 35 years of service. She was a member of the Eastern Star.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Jacqueline King, Margie K. Sherrick and Vivian K. MacWhirter; and brother, Bobby King.
Survivors: husband of 51 years, Charles Thurman Davis of Azle; nieces, Janice Luder of Wylie and Gayle Lee of Bedford; nephew, Steve MacWhirter of Lakeside.
