Sarah Elizabeth Osborne married when she was just 15. Her own parents had separated and divorced when she was very young. Her husband, Benjamin Franklin Rosebaum, lived on a farm near that of her grandfather James McCash, Find A Grave Memorial# 62574281. By all accounts, Sarah and BF had a happy marriage of over 50 years. The Rosebaum's were often known as 'Roseboom'. Below is Sarah's obituary:

Mrs. B. F. Roseboom, who has been ill for several weeks, died at her home on E. Howard St, on Wed. evening. Funeral service at the Christian Church today (Friday) at 1/2 past 12 will be conducted by Rev. OE Kelly of Terre Haute. Interment in Oak Hill Cemetery, Crawfordsville. Sarah Elizabeth OSBORNE was b. in Charthage OH Feb 6, 1842. She married Benjamin Franklin Roseboom (note above) at Westport, IN Nov 2, 1857. They lived near Westport for a time, then lived on a farm in Ohio. Thence they moved to Jamestown and from there to Crawfordsville, where the children were educated. They lived for sometime in Chicago and for the past 10 years have made their home in Waveland. To them were born 7 children, 5 living: Homer and Mrs. Hattie Hart, Chicago; William Curtis of Detroit; Frank LeRoy of Cleveland and John O. There are 6 grandchildren; one brother, David Osborne; and one sister, Mrs. Clara Little. Mrs. Roseboom was a member of the Christian Church from early life. She was a good neighbor, a faithful wife and an affectionate mother. She will be greatly missed. She bore her sufferings with great fortitude and patience.
