Bill, the son of Alfred and Vira Maria Wood Drane, was 62 at the time of his death on Wednesday, 25 Nov 1987. He was buried Westlawn Gardens, Clemmons, Forsyth, North Carolina (Ridgecrest & Kinnamon Roads) on the following Sunday. Bill retired from his employment in Richmond, Virginia as an oilman - heater and airconditioning mechanic due to poor health. He and and his wife, Shirley Bailey [Lett] Drane, moved to Florida where he resided for six years prior to his death. He died in his automobile on his way home from a fast food restaurant. He was a member of West Bend Masonic Lodge No. 434 A.F. & A.M.
