SHARP, BEATRICE - age 88 of Lake City, passed away Friday, May 8, 2009 at the home of Brenda and Maurice Walker. She was born September 16, 1920 in Anderson County, TN to the late Milas T. and Minnie Parks Martin. Beatrice was a member of Clear Branch Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, selling Avon products, and spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Lum Sharp; son, Tommy Lynn Sharp; sister, Dorothy Loving; brothers, Roy, Theodore, Sydney, and Loyal Martin. Survivors: daughters, Brenda Walker and husband, Maurice, Oliver Springs, Doris Ann Hill and husband, Gene Brandon, Mississippi; sisters, Zella Brady, Lake City, Ruby Phillips, Harriman; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and a host of dear friends. Visitation: 6:00-8:00 PM Sunday, May 10, 2009 at Hatmaker Funeral Home. Funeral Service: 8:00 PM Sunday, May 10, 2009 at Hatmaker Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Tom Baez officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:20 AM Monday, May 11, 2009 at Hatmaker Funeral Home to go in procession to Leach Cemetery in Lake City for an 11:00 AM interment.
