Ruth Slanger Garfunkel Kerrill passed away at her home at the age of 90 years old. She was born to Sam and Rachel Geisler Slanger. Ruth had lived in Reno for the past 65 years, coming from Danville, IL. She was a homemaker and a member of the Jewish Temple. She is survived by her son, John Garfinkle and sister, Helen Blanchard, both of Reno; daughter, Rochelee Catlett of Sparks; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
