Inez was born on Shiloh Rd. in her parent's farmhouse. She attended Garland schools and graduated from Garland High School in 1939. She was a cheerleader and Senior Class Officer. She attended Draughon's Business College in Dallas. During WWII, she worked in security at North American in Los Angeles. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Garland for over 70 years, and was also a member of the Garland Jaycettes and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She spent her career at Motors Insurance Corporation, a division of General Motors. She retired as Regional Secretary of the Dallas Region. After retirement, she was a volunteer at Baylor Hospital. She was a lover of cats her entire life.
