Mrs. Edwin E. Ames
Mrs. Mary Trout Ames, sixty-seven, wife of Edwin E. Ames, Leaman Place, died at 12:35 p. m., Monday, at the St. Joseph's Hospital, Lancaster, after an illness of one year.
Born in Paradise Township, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Sarah Kendig Trout, and was a member of the Leacock Presbyterian Church, Paradise; the Ladies' Missionary Society; the ever Ready Bible Class; the Ladies' Auxiliary of the Tanawa Post No. 409, American Legion, Paradise, and was a Gold Star Sister.
Besides her husband she is survived by one son, E. Leon Ames, Lancaster, R1. These brothers and sisters also survive: Harry E. Trout, Paradise; Ray and Mae Trout, and Mrs. Amos Rynier, all of Lancaster.
Funeral services will be held from the Brown Funeral Home, Paradise, this (Friday) afternoon at 2:30. Interment will be made in the Paradise Presbyterian Cemetery.
