"A. LAMEY IS DEAD:
"Antoine Lamey, one of Biloxi's oldest residents, died at his home, 864 Reynoir street, at 4:55 this morning after an illness of 11 days. He was a native of Harrison county and a redsident of Biloxi for the past 31 years. He was 79 years old. Funeral will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence with services by Rev. Cox and Rev. Porter of the Methodist church. He leaves a number of relatives. There are seven children: Richard Lamey, Lourin Lamey, Florin Lamey, Mrs. J. Seymour, Mrs. C. Seymour and Mrs. J. Creel and Miss Clara Wells; one brother, B. P. Lamey, a sister Mrs. Eliza Rushing, and 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Mr. Lamey has been in the grocery business in Biloxi for 16 years."

"LAMEY FUNERAL HELD"
"The funeral of Antoine Lamey who died Friday morning, was held Saturday afternoon from the late residnece on Reynoir street. Services were conducted by Rev. Cox and Rev. Porter of the Methodist Church. The funeral was largely attended and there were many beautiful floral tributes. Mrs. C. Nesossis, another daughter, was omitted from the funeral notice Saturday. The pallbearers were Leland and Anthony Creel, James and Lourin(sic) Seymour, William Strayham and Conrad Nesossis. Interment was in the Biloxi cemetery."
