Mrs. Dycus was born September 7, 1865, in Murry county, Tenn., the daughter of Willis and Abergale Cummings. In 1885, in Tennessee, she was married to James Harvey Dycus who preceded her in death on October 3, 1903.
About 45 years ago she moved with her children to Pemiscot county and for the last 18 years had made her home in Hayti. She had been a member of the Hayti Baptist church for years.
She is survived by four sons, Tuss and Herman Dycus of Hayti, Will Dycus of Poplar Bluff and Jim Dycus of Yorkville, Tenn.; three daughters, Mrs. Janie Reeves and Mrs. Minnie Stinston of Caruthersville and Mrs. Lillie Norman of Bragg City; a sister, Mrs. Laura Scarbrough of Humboldt, Tenn.; 15 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at Monday afternoon June 3 with the Rev. P.W. Herring officiating. Burial was in Little Prairie Cemetery with H.S. Smith Funeral Home service.

Enter by the first gate. Take first left. Go down about 11 rows on the right and grave is in line with Edward Dycus, Laura Dycus, Madie Dycus, Clemmie James Wicker and Donald Wayne Curtis. There is a large Gilmore marker with black polished stone next row.
