Miss Emma Van Sickle, 70, formerly of Waterloo, died at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Mercy hospital, Cedar Rapids, of injuries suffered in an automobile accident there last Friday.

She was a clerk for many years in the Paul Davis Dry Goods company, predecessor of Lauerman's store.

Miss Van Sickle was born Jan. 9, 1862, at Kossuth, Ia.

Mrs. W. A. Wade, 326 Reed street, is a niece. A brother, Ira Van Sickle, lives at Los Angeles.

The body was brought to the Kistner mortuary here.
