Robert Adkins, 71 of Sciotoville Rt. 4, died at 5:30 p.m. Friday at Mercy Hospital. He was a native of Harlin County, KY., and a retired farmer.
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs.Clifford Howard (Gladys), 6225 Harding Ave., Sciotoville; Mrs. Thurman Parker (Betty) of Minford Rt. 1, and Mrs. Rosemary Parker of Minford Rt. 2; two sons, Ray Adkins of Shadesville, and Karl Adkins of Beaver Rt. 2; a stepson, Joel Eldridge of Springfield; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Frances Conkel of Johnstown; 32 grandchildren and nine great-grandchilderen.
Services are to be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Don Wolfe Funeral Home in Sciotoville, with Rev. Robert Eldridge officiating, and burial in Batterson Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 tonight.
