A retired employee of LSU and a resident of Port Allen, she was 77 and a native of Morgan City.

She is survived by her husband, Charles J. Aucoin; three daughters, Terri Lingle, Christi Sanchez and husband Bart, and Mindy Manchester and husband Tony; son, Shane Aucoin and wife Josephine; four sisters, Ella Ruth Mensman and husband Ward, Rose Ann Williams, Wanzie Cousin and husband Charles, and Carol Darce and husband Robert; three brothers, Owen Stansbury and wife Gloria, Dick Stansbury and wife Mary, and Jack Stansbury; nine grandchildren, Lance, Aimee, Kara, Kari Jo, Amber, Keegan, Bucky, Kaylin and Jade; and three great-grandchildren, Liam, Baby McSpaddin and Baby Hendrix.

Preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Rita Breaux Stansbury; sister, Rita Stansbury; and three brothers, William, Huey and Merlin Stansbury.

She loved LSU sports. She was an angel who took care of everyone she knew throughout her life.
