McMinnville resident and Smith County native Lena Mai Gribble, 91, died June 17 at NHC Healthcare after an extended illness.
A homemaker and a member of Bybee Branch Church of Christ, she was the daughter of the late James Ira and Mary Ethel McKinney Grisham; and was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Gribble; brothers, Oscar, Thurman, Bud and Ted Grisham; and sisters, Effie Farmer and Inna Lee Lynch.
She is survived by daughter, Linda Cantrell of McMinnville; son and daughter-in-law, Robert L. (Bob) and Joann Gribble of Ronks, Pa.; halfsister, Mary Lou Fitzpatrick of Gordonsville; grandsons and their spouses, J. Brent and Missy Cantrell, Brad and Dawn Cantrell, all of McMinnville, Steve and Donna Gribble, Scott and Janet Gribble, all of Ronks, Pa.; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at McMinnville Funeral Home with Tony Lawrence officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery. Visitation will be held from noon to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. until time of service Thursday at McMinnville Funeral Home.
