EVELYN M. WINEBRENNER — FROSTBURG — Evelyn Marie Winebrenner, 69, of Route Frostburg (Garrett County), Md., died Wednesday, February 9, 1994, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland, Md.

Born on August 25, 1924, in Garrett County, Md., she was a daughter of the late Norman and Rhoda (Robinson) Garlitz. In addition to her parents she also was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard C. Winebrenner, on Dec. 29, 1993; one sister, Mildred Baker, and three brothers, Elmer Garlitz, Gilbert Garlitz and Vernard Garlitz.

Mrs. Winebrenner was a homemaker and a member of the Mount Zion United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women.

Surviving are two daughters, Janet Rizer, of Meyersdale, Pa., and Connie House, of Friendsville; three grandchildren; one sister, Pansy Wilson, of Vienna, Va., and five brothers, Arvil Garlitz, Esco Garlitz and Raymond Garlitz, all of Frostburg; Clarence Garlitz, of Zihlman, and William Garlitz, of Hagerstown.

Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home by the Rev. David Lancaster.

Interment will be in Mount Zion Cemetery.

The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to the Lions Manor Nursing Home.
