Zelpha Grace Atteberry
Zelpha Grace Atteberry, 88, died Aug 21, 1995 at Hutchinson Hospital. She was born Feb 24, 1907 at Louisburg, the daughter of George and Grace Brullman Scott. She was a graduate of Pawnee Rock High School and was a 1927 graduate of Halstead Hospital School of Nursing. She received her nurse's training under the late Dr. Arthur E. Hertzler. A Hutchinson resident since 1941, moving from Great Bend, she was a registered nurse, retiring in 1977. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Hutchinson. On Oct 24, 1933, she married Earl M. Atteberry at Dodge City. He survives. Other survivors include: a son, Lary J, Pinecliffe, Colo; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Funeral will be a 1:30 pm Wednesday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchison, with the Rev. Robert Atteberry presiding. Friends may call from 9 am to 9 pm today, at 9 am until noon Wednesday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Hutchinson. Memorials may be sent to Hospice of Reno County in care of the mortuary.
