Martha Frances Davis, age 90, of Murfreesboro died March 26, 2009. She was a native of Rutherford County. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Smotherman Davis and her parents, Conard and Martha Douglas Mangrum. She was a member of Third Baptist Church and retired Bookkeeper at State Farm. She is survived by her children, Linda (Heman) McDade of Chattanooga, William (Virginia) Davis and Roy (Melissa) Davis, both of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Wendi (Matt) Parker and Vanessa (Luke) Moyes, both of Chattanooga, Jennifer Davis of Oak Ridge, Michael (Amanda) Davis of N.C., Amy Boatright of Walter Hill and Jason B. Davis of Georgia; great-grandchildren, Hannah Parker, Hallie and Hope Boatright; brother, Conard (Georgia) Mangrum Jr. of Woodbury; and sister, Kitty (John) Tucker of Pulaski. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Carlton Cemetery.
