Funeral services for Sallie Fay Alexander, 84, were held in Southside Baptist Church with the pastor, Rev. Jim Wilson, officiating.

She died Saturday, September 18, 1993, in Olney, Texas. Bom November 15,1908, in Dennison. she and Holmes "Blocker" Alexander were married November 21, 1924,in Gainesville. He preceded her in death September 18, 1984. After moving to the Olney area in 1924, she was a member of the Bittercreek Home Demonstration Club, was a homemaker and a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Survivors include four sons, A.C. "Dago" Alexander of Coleman, Cletus Alexander of Archer City, Glenn Dee Alexander of Wichita Falls and Alvin Alexander of Ulysses, Kan.; one daughter, Donia Woods of Seymour, two brothers. Ben A. Souther of Houston and CD. Souther of Decatur. two
sisters, Mary Hazel wood of Southmayd and Nancy Alexander of Obey; seventeen grandchildren; 25 greatgrandchildren; and one, great, great grandchild.

Another son, Jack Alexander, preceded her in death February 5, 1992.
