Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at Apple's Chapel Christian Church with Rev. Allen Myers, III, Rev. Rosser Lee Clapp and Rev Tim Geiger officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Chrismon was born in Guilford County to the late James Alfred and Georgia Ann Huffines Cook. She was a devoted member of Apple's Chapel for many years and was faithful to bring food and send cards to the sick. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Iverson Chrismon; four brothers; two sisters; a great grandchild and a great grandson, Joshua Chrismon; and son-in-law, Richard Williams
Survivors include son, Melvin Ray Chrismon and wife, Carol of Gibsonville, NC; daughters, Lelia C. Faucette and husband, Marcus of Brown Summit, Velma C. Williams of Greensboro, Donna C. Loye and husband, Glenn of Gibsonville, Vickie C. Brooks and husband, Teddy of Burlington; twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren.
