Rebecca Cain
Rebecca Skidmore was born in Pendleton county, W. Va., January 31, 1822; died at her home near Blandinsville, Friday, January 28, 1900, aged 77 years, 11 months and 28 days.
She was married to John Cain at Monticello, Indiana, March 11, 1841. to them were born ten children, six of whom died in infancy, two sons and two daughters surviving to mourn the loss of an affectionate mother.
The husband died Oct 11, 1897, aged 80 years.
She was a member of the Central church society, lived a life consistent with the high profession and though ripe in years her death is regretted by all.
Funeral occurred at Central church Monday, January 29, conducted by Elder Sherman.
