Ralph D. Hancock was born in Hannibal, MO, March 27, 1920, the son of Roy Ulis Hancock and Lillie Pauline Powell. He was married to Dorothy Eloise Brown Emerson of New Canton, IL on November 25, 1942, in Hannibal. He died in St. Francis Hospital, Wichita, KS, and was survived by his widow, his son The Rev. James C. Emerson, his mother, 1 brother and 3 sisters. He was preceded in death by his father and 1 brother. A Requiem Eucharist was celebrated in St. James Episcopal Church, Wichita, KS, on September 23, 1969 and the Burial Office was read in Trinity Episcopal Church, Hannibal, MO on September 25, 1969 prior to burial in Brown Family Cemetery.
