He was born October 26, 1954 in Nephi, Utah to Lee and Madge Allan. He married the love of his life, Suelyn Thompson, on March 16, 1974 in Spring City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
He was a member of the LDS church, and had a very strong testimony. He enjoyed hunting, camping, and working in his yard. He also spent many years coaching Little League baseball. His most important calling in life was that of husband, father, and grandfather. Nothing was more important to him than spending time with his family.
He worked many years as a Journeyman Mechanic, and more recently as Maintenance Supervisor for Pacificorp. He was an extremely skilled worker who excelled in everything he did.
He is survived by his wife, Suelyn; children: Jenny (Brandon) Johnson; Joe (Amy) Allan; Abby (Steven) Christiansen; Jace (Loralee) Allan; and 11 very special grandchildren, all of Spring City; brothers Dean and Kent; and sisters Myrleen and Pat.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Joe and Gary; and a special nephew, Tyler Mower.
Funeral services were held Monday, February 9 at 12 p.m., in the Spring City 1st Ward LDS Chapel. Viewings will be held Sunday from 6 to 8 pm at the Rasmussen Mortuary, Mt. Pleasant; and Monday 10:30 to 11:30 am prior to services.
Interment held in the Spring City Cemetery under the direction of Rasmussen Mortuary.
