Marl Baker, farm hand recently employed on the Willis Worley farm southeast of town, died Mon afternoon at the home of his sister, Mrs. Birge Dunn on South Main Street. Mr. Baker was stricken with a heart attack last Thursday at the Worley farm and was brought to his sister's home and then he died.
He was 57 years old, among his brothers and sisters other than Mrs. Dunn are Mrs. Mattie Dunn of Cicero, Mrs. Honora Kellam of Hortonville and Tony Baker of Bakers Corner; Elwood Baker of Sheridan is a half brother. His parents, Anthony and Mary Baker, died several years ago and are buried in Tenn. He has a son, Verle living in Indianapolis.
Funeral services were held at the Hinshaw funeral home Wed afternoon with the interment of Crown View.
