Mary Sharpe of Bedford, IN, died Saturday, April 22, 2000, at the Hospitality House. Born on August 8, 1918, in Lawrence County, IN, she was the daughter of Ralph and Mamie I. (Peek) Webb. She married Ralph O. Sharpe on November 29, 1941, and he died February 17, 1993.

Surviving are two sons, Ralph Sharpe of Bedford, IN, and Nathan Mark Sharpe of Bedford, IN; two daughters, Janna Adams of Bedford, IN, and Wanda Spinks of Mitchell, IN; one step-daughter, Rosamond Lively Kittle of Ventura, CA; eight grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and nine step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, three sisters, and one brother.

She retired from Sarkes-Tarzian after twenty years of service and formerly worked at Travellers Corp in Orleans. She was a member of Faith Mission Church.

Services for Mary Sharpe will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 25th, at the Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with the Rev. Leonard Sankey officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery.
