NORMA E. CISNE, 92, of Geff, IL passed away Monday, April 20, 2009 at 11:30AM at the Flora Rehab & Health Care Center at Flora, IL.
Norma was born October 10, 1916 at Geff, IL to Olof and Ida Mae (Davis) Simpson. She married Hugh A. Cisne May 5, 1936 at Olney, IL. He preceded her in death November 27, 1978
She retired as an LPN in 2001 having worked in people's homes and before that she worked for Fairfield Memorial Hospital for 24 years. She was a member of the Geff Christian Church.
Norma was raised by her aunt and uncle Mary & Bill Heckler.
Norma is survived by a son Bill Cisne of Louisville, IL; two Half Sisters Emma Duncan (& her husband Vernon) of Jacksonville, FL and Mary Fowler (& her husband Louis) of Bloomington, IL; a Half Brother Ira Simpson (& his wife Mary) of Decatur, IL.
Preceding her in death were her husband, an infant son Allen Eugene, one brother John Simpson, three half-brothers Olof, Roscoe, James and her parents.
Funeral services will be 1:30PM Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Hosselton Funeral Home. Burial will be in Bestow Cemetery. Bro. Mark Hunt will officiate. Visitation will be 6-8PM Wednesay, April 22, 2009 at Hosselton Funeral Home.
Memorials may be given to Geff Christian Church.
