SILVER, ULYESS FRANKLIN, 87, of LaFayette, GA. Dies late Saturday evening at Shepherd Hill Rest home.
He was a member of the Cornith Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Hester Mavity Silver of LaFayette; a son, Elbert D. Silver, of Rossville. Ga.; a sister, Mrs. Lillie Silver Jennings. LaFayette; a. grandson, Randy Alan Silver of Atlanta: two granddaughters. Mrs. Loretta Burden of Naples, Italy, and Mrs. Myra Burden, Gaithersburg Md.; four great-grandchi1dren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Max Wallis Memorial Chapel Monday at 3 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. W. E. Broome and the Rev. G. L. Green. Pallbearers are Randy Silver, Johnny Mills. Wiburn Cagle, Kenneth James and Joe Mavity. Honorary escort is to meet at the chapel at 2:45 p.m. and will include members of the Men's Bible Class of Corinth Baptist Church. The body will remain at the funeral home. Interment in LaFayette Cemetery. Wallis and Son in charge.
