Wed on April 16, 1934 and married for 67 years to Flossie Beatrice Eastridge with one daughter Betty Maxine Whitt Braddy and son-in-law Dukey Maloy Braddy.

His parents were Ruben Green Whitt & Clara Elizabeth "Lizzie" Neal Whitt.

His siblings were:
Ralph Columbus Whitt 1915-1936
Alice Juanita Elizabeth Whitt Waltman Joslin 1916-2005
Estella Bonnie Jane Whitt Waltman 1919-1991

He was a Janitor at the Poplar Bluff School District for many years. He also lived in the building & worked as the Custodial Janitor at the Christian Science Church on Natural Bridge in St. Louis, Mo.

When we visited in the summer time we could see the top of the old Sportsman's Stadium & hear the crowd roar at the St Louis Cardinal baseball games with announcer Harry Carey! It was exciting to listen to the ballgame on the radio & also listen through the window at the excitement! We always knew when Stan "The Man" Musial hit a homerun! He was certainly a Cardinal baseball fan.

He was a lifelong member of the United Pentecost Church.
