Barry W. Grant, 67, Bardstown, died Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at his residence. He was born Sept. 16, 1941, in Camden, N.J., an office manager for New York Life Insurance Company, a member of Honda Club of Louisville, former member of Kiwanis Club of Bardstown and Optimist Club of Bardstown and attended Wickland Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Martha Jane and Gordon Grant; and two brothers, Kenneth Huff and David Huff.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Grant; two daughters, Sharla Ann Johnson, Bardstown, and Sharon Peterson, Fort Campbell; four grandchildren; and a sister, Lisa Bleakley, McKinney, Texas.

A graveside service will be 2:15 pm Saturday at Bardstown Cemetery. The Rev. Brad Woods will officiate.

Visitation is 4-7 pm Friday and 1-2 p.m. Saturday at Barlow Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may go to The American Cancer Society or Hospice of Nelson County.

Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
