Dorothy I. Shaw Beltzhoover, 89, formerly of Lerew Road, South Middletown Township, passed away Friday, Sept. 15, 2006, in Green Ridge Village, Newville.
Born Dec. 31, 1916 in Newville to the late Ralph and Isabelle Harlan Shaw, she was the widow of Creedon M. Beltzhoover, who passed away Jan. 13, 2005.
She and her late husband owned and operated a farm in the township. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church on the square in Carlisle.
Mrs. Beltzhoover is survived by a daughter, Mary Lea Shenk, and her husband Carl of Carlisle; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two brothers, Leslie and Lynn Shaw.
Graveside services will be Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Monroe Township. A memorial service at her church will follow at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Jon. A. Black officiating.
The family will receive friends at her church following the memorial service. Memorial contributions may be made to her church at 2A N. Hanover St., Carlisle, PA 17013.
Arrangements are being handled by Hollinger Funeral Home and Crematory, Mt. Holly Springs.
