SPANISH AMERICAN WAR VETERAN

Chris G. Dauskardt was the son of George and Bertha (Peishan) Dauskardt. He was born June 22, 1874 in Elport, Indiana per his Veterans Home Application of 1937.

MILITARY RECORD:
Enlisted August 19, 1896 in Chicago, Illinois. Served as Private in Company "D", 7th U. S. Infantry. Discharged August 18, 1899 at Fort Crook, Nebraska. Re-enlistment was on August 21, 1899 at Fort Crook, Nebraska with the same unit. He was discharged on August 20, 1902 at Presidio, San Francisco, California with the rank of Private.

Mr. Dauskardt was by occupation a Musician. He was 5' 9-1/2 inches tall, had a medium complexion, and had lived continuously in the state since October 1902. Mr. Dauskardt married Anna S. Rose of Chelan County on 4 June 1935 in Port Orchard, Kistap County, Washington. Witnesses were Helen Graham and Edna Odden.

He died April 19, 1955 at the age of 80 years at Retsil.
