FRIENDSVILLE – Mrs. Lizzie M. Selby, 88, died Sunday at Garrett Memorial Hospital.

Born at Sand Spring, she was a daughter of the late Franklin Humberson and Annie (Guard) Humberson.

Mrs. Selby was a member of grace Lutheran Church. Her husband, N. Ernest Selby, preceded her in death.

Surviving are six sons, Ross Selby, Lawerence Selby, Richard Selby and Claude Selby, all of Friendsville; Fred Selby and Robert Selby, both of Baltimore; three daughters, Mrs. Leone Lefferts and Mrs. Fern Lininger, both of Friendsville; Mrs. Dorothy Watson, Mountain Lake Park; two brothers, Fred Humberson and Ivan Humberson, both of Friendsville; 30 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Friendsville, Tuesday from 2 to 4d and 7 to 9 p.m.

Service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home by the Rev. William Carlson. Interment will be in the Humberson family cemetery here.
