Shirley Lee Thomas was born in McGregor Texas. She married Amos Leon Alberts in Lincoln Texas in 1959. Six children were born to this union. Gloria, Douglas, Eddie, Daniel, Enrico, and William all enjoyed their life in Texas before moving to Calfornia. She lived her early life in the Central Texas area until moving with her husband and family to the Los Angeles area in 1965. The family was strong in faith and were members of the Greater Mont Calvary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Amos in 1983. She leaves to mourn her passing, her children Gloria Mitchell, Douglas, Eddie, Daniel, Enrico, and William and step daughter Stella. Also, her sisters Ernestine, Eddie, Ada, Peggy, and Gloria and three brothers, Louis, Ronnie, and Mister; and 12 grandchrildren and two great-grandchrildren, neices, nephews, cousins, and friends.
