Matilda Marie Sedlacek Kulisek McDonald, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend, passed away Jan. 27, 2007. She was born on July 28, 1918, in Omaha Nebr., to Vit and Francis Sedlacek.

Matilda, known to her family as "Babe", was the youngest of four children. Matilda graduated from North High School in Omaha and Golden West Jr. College in Huntington Beach, Ca. She worked as a grocery clerk, meat wrapper, psychiatric technician, earned her LVN license and had been a long-time member of the Eastern Star.

Matilda lived in Stockton, Huntington Beach and Sacramento, Ca., and has lived in Chandler, Az., for the past 20 years. Her hobbies were gardening, growing house plants, playing cards and above all, she loved cooking for her family on holidays.

Matilda was a wonderful mother to Mike Kulisek (Joi) and Jana Manganaro (Rick) and greatly enjoyed her grandchildren Mike Kulisek, Jr., Megan Segers, Jonathan Kulisek, Gerry Manganaro and Andrea Manganaro and great-grandchildren, Isley Kulisek, Marlena and Adam Segers, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Roy, Edward and Frank. Matilda's wishes were to return to Omaha Nebr., for funeral services and burial. Mom, we love you always.
