Edna Lee Hepler Kotch, 77 of Carmichaels, Pa. and formerly of Nemacolin and Beaver, Pa., died at 9:25 P.M. on Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa. She was born June 22, 1931 in Centerville, Pa., a daughter of the late Charles Frick and Edna M. (Hess) Hepler. Mrs. Kotch was a 1949 graduate of East Bethlehem Township High School and resided in Nemacolin from 1979 until 1999. She was a member of the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church of Carmichaels, the Kola Sisters and the church choir. Mrs. Kotch was a member of the Jefferson Senior Center and a former member of the Rebekah's and the Brighton Township Firemen's Auxiliary. On December 5, 1953, she married William Kotch, who died March 15, 1998.

Surviving are three sons, Guy William Kotch of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Mark James Kotch and his wife, Angie of Indianapolis, Ind. and Charles Michael Kotch of Stow, Ohio; two daughters, Cynthia Rose and her husband, Jack of Carmichaels and Emily Trainor and her husband, Alan of Cuyahoga Falls; 14 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; four brothers, Charles C. Hepler and his wife, Lois of Indianapolis, James A. Hepler and his wife, Shirley of Cuyahoga Falls, John F. Hepler and his wife, Diane of Indianapolis and Kenneth R. Hepler and his wife, Karen of North Carolina; a sister, Barbara Hager and her husband, Ron of Stow and several nieces and nephews. Deceased are five sisters, Eleanor L.(Hepler) Parks, Betty (Hepler)Hoover, Emma Jean (Hepler)Ball, Polly Kay (Hepler) Welling and Pauline Moore
