Frances Jeanette Hanna Miears
BOGATA-Frances Jeanette Hanna Miears,61, of Bogata died Wednesday, March 17, in Medical City Hospital,Dallas.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, March 20, in Bogata Assembly of God Church with the Rev Donnie Sherrill and the Rev Billy Daniels officiating. Burial will be in McCrury Cemetary by Wood Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Miears was born Sept. 12, 1937, in McCrury to Tullie and Leora Boe Bums. She was a registered nurse for 25 years and was director of nursing for a number of years at nursing homes in this area and also worked in labor & delivery for several years at McCuistion Regional Medical Center.
Surviving are her husband, Weldon;three daughters,Terri Bell and Eyvette Alford of Plano and Sherri Cheatwood of Bogata;two sons, Larry Hanna of Tyler and Barry Hanna of Bogata; a stepson, Debbs Miears of Lavon, and nine grandchildren, James & Scott Bell,Collin,Chelsea & Cailie Alford, all of Plano, Clinton & Cody Cheatwood, Joey & Jessie Hanna, all of Bogata;and step-grandson, Billy Miears of Oklahoma.
Pallbearers will be Don Roach,Jim Carroll,Gary King,Johnny Burns,Mike Young and Kenneth Palmer. Honorary pallbearers will be grandsons.
