Passed away Friday morning, October 3, 2003.

Mildred was born March 7, 1906 in Battle Creek, the daughter of Leo and Charlotte (Lafayette) Paige.

She was a homemaker and a member of T.O.P.S. Battle Creek Chapter for many years.

On December 16, 1927 she was united in marriage to Russell Taylor, who preceded her in death in 1965. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers.

Surviving are a son, Phillip (Mae) Hastings of Scotts; 6 granddaughters, Diann Erdos of Climax, Sharon Evans of Kalamazoo, Phillis Tuttle of Three Rivers, Judy Evans of Vicksburg, Betty Hastings of Little Rock, AR, Bobbe Halder of Battle Creek; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchil-dren; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no visitation and a private family graveside service will be held in Gilson Cemetery in Scotts with Pastor Tom Harrison officiating.

Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
