Mrs. Emma J. BALDWIN, 76, of the Burton community, died at 4 p.m. Friday at the Rochester Nursing Home. Ms. Baldwin had been in ill health for several years. She was born Nov. 16, 1877, in Fulton county to Joseph and Catherine SLIFE WALTERS. On July 27, 1898, she was married to William L. BALDWIN. Mrs. Baldwin was a member of he Burton Evangelical church. Surviving are her husband, at home; three daughters, Mrs. Ethel WILLIAMS, South Bend; Mrs. Bessie VOORHEES, Rochester; Mrs. Bernice HENDERSON, Burton; a son, William [BALDWIN], South Bend; two brothers, John and Charles WALTERS, Rochester; two sisters, Mrs. Lulu LEEDY, Rochester; Mrs. Anna BALDWIN, Palmetto, Fla., and ten grandchildren. Four children preceded her in death. Final rites will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Burton church with the Rev. Dale HAMILTON officiating. Burial will be in the Nichols cemetery. Friends may call at the Foster Funeral Home.
